Episode overview
We travel from Cape St Francis, stopping off briefly at the Gouritz River for a special treat for Gareth, to Buffalo Bay where we spend an awesome night camping on the coast at the Buffalo Bay Caravan Park. Justin makes Hobo fish for dinner.

"It’s incredible how your…whole day can unfold on you when you’re on this incredible coastline in Africa. I mean this morning we... yes, take a look..."

"Have you seen that mad son... S.O.B of mine that’s down on that point? For his 31st birthday, we threw him off a bridge..."

"Right! We’re making hobo fish... for our travelling companions and hobo’s... So, the beautiful thing about hobo fish, is that there’s only very few ingredients. Garlic... Ivan, hold this down for me for a second... just for two seconds... this is a fillet of cob. Garlic, rub it in... some butter. Then another fillet of cob. Skin side down obviously... Ah, you should’ve known. Didn’t Jennifer warn you? She didn’t? You don’t like being on camera…are you blushing? “Yes”.

"Ladies and gentlemen, come get some... cob. A la hobo style... Now guys, that’s how easy it is to make a hobo fish. And anyone can do this, anywhere, anytime..."

The next morning we pack up and travel a short distance to the Knysna Lagoon where we spend the next day and night cruising around on “Lightleys” Houseboats. This is oyster heaven.

"Right, all we’re going to do, to start off the day, considering we’re in Knysna, we’re going to do oysters in 1001 different ways. Some of them straight forward, some of them not. So we’re just going to eat them gently over the day..."

Later that evening, under a clear starry sky, Justin makes us fish pie.

"Well guys, this took a little bit longer in our stove. It’s beautiful out here, we’re in the middle of this gorgeous bay which you guys are going to see tomorrow morning. And here is our fish pie... for everyone. What does it taste like Fran?"

Fran: "Mmm, tastes great, first time I’ve eaten first... on my own plate." (laughter)

The next morning, time to leave.

"So we spent a beautiful night out on the water last night, and, unfortunately, we have to leave now and go down to Suiderstrand. Unfortunately, fortunately…where hopefully Gareth is going to catch us a, with a spear gun, a couple of fish for lunch, please..."
