"It’s dawn, and we’re going fishing... We don’t know if we’re going to be spear fishing or whether we’re going to be fishing. It’s purely condition dependent."

"So we’ve just come back from some awesome fishing. We’ve got some Red Stump nose, some Galjoen and things, but those we’re going to cook up a bit later. I think the guys are a bit peckish now, so I’m going to do a quick little muesli for them."

Later on in the day Justin serves us baked fish.

"All we have to do is put cream in and... ah... then we’re going to cover it up. Francis will you just seal it in tin foil and stuff for me... This was, like, three-quarters of a litre of cream, but it’s quite a big fish. I promise you, this is going to turn into a incredible taste. You can already see it. I mean, if you’ve got imagination... it’s anything. Just take a look at that.That’s the last one we have to do."

"Okay, we’re going to take a quick peek at our two fish as well now. I love this anticipationary, anti-ci-pa-t-ary moment... Ah, look at that. I think that’s about done, hey... Look at that now, it’s starting to split open and you can imagine what the flavour’s going to be like."

"Okay, guys! So, finally... we’re ready with our beautiful fish... Ah... So, Gareth, thanks for the fish my friend."

The next day it was time for us to head towards the Cederberg, via De Hoop Nature Reserve, where we stop off for a bit of a breakfast brunch and everyone chills out.

"What we didn’t know, was that you had to do a two and a half kilometre walk down a hill with all our stuff. But you know, that’s what’s grand about a road trip. When you have to do something like this, you don’t even mind."

"The beauty about this breakfast, is that you can do it anywhere... What we going to do, is poach some eggs with some various ingredients…in this pot."

"I think breakfast should be about... ready now... and it’s become more like brunch as I think kind of happens with us a lot. There you go..."

Directions from closest major city:
From Cape Town take the N2 to Caledon. From Caledon proceed to Bredasdorp, from there to Struisbaai and L'Agulhas. Follow the gravel road that runs in front of the Lighthouse (from here it is 5km to Suiderstrand), past the Southernmost tip. Once you get to the Suiderstrand signboard, follow the tar road down. First road left is Vlei Avenue. Turn left and Pebble Beach is on your left.
